Lead Rotation
Lead rotation is the logic a recruiting team uses to assign incoming driver applicant leads across available recruiters. Instead of leads piling up with one person, rotation rules route new leads — and reassign stale ones — to recruiters who are active and have capacity, so no applicant is left waiting on a recruiter who is unavailable.
Lead rotation determines which recruiter a new driver lead is assigned to, and what happens if that recruiter doesn't act on it in time. Simple rotation just cycles leads round-robin; more advanced rotation accounts for recruiter workload, activity status, and where a lead sits in the pipeline. In Fleegital, a lead that sits past a configurable timer without a response is automatically moved to the least-loaded active recruiter, recruiters who have been inactive for 14 days stop receiving new leads altogether, and leads already in interview or orientation are never reassigned so a driver doesn't lose the recruiter relationship they've built mid-process. A daily cap of 50 leads per recruiter also prevents any one person from being overloaded to the point that response times slip.
Why it matters for recruiting and operations
Without rotation rules, leads commonly get stuck with a recruiter who's out sick, overloaded, or has stopped working the pipeline, and those leads simply go cold instead of being worked by someone else. Good rotation logic protects speed to lead at the team level, not just for an individual recruiter, which is what ultimately determines how many applicants get seated.
